Job Overview

Individuals interested in an application would be considered in an apprenticeship stream in Carpentry. Applicants may also be considered for positions in the Drywall apprenticeship stream. The final stream applicants may be considered in the flooring stream.

Required Skills

• working at heights
• WHMIS
• workers health and safety in 4 steps
• other training provided:
• power elevated work platform, welding, forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, concrete form work, scaffold, TDA training, anxiety in the workplace, stress management, communication etc.

required tools: pouch, hammer, measuring tape (metric/imperial combo), speed square, exacto knife, carpenter’s pencil, adjustable wrench, 2’ level, 4’ level, 2’framing square, chalk line, linesman pliers
