TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Sudbury is an all-suite hotel designed to meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. Our hotel has fully equipped kitchens in every suite along with a daily hot breakfast. We have an indoor pool, hot tub, and water slide, as well as a fitness facility. For business travelers, we offer meeting rooms, and our staff is always on hand to help.
Job Description:
You will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and addressing any guest inquiries or issues. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Process reservations and cancellations accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus to assist multilingual guests
- Strong customer service skills with a customer-oriented attitude
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling phone systems
- Knowledge of front desk operations in a hotel setting is advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
