Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT associate to join our team. This role requires a solid foundation in IT support and network management. The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple vendors and independently researching and resolving technical issues.
Job Description:
An IT support associate maintains computer networks and technical support for an organization. They monitor and maintain the company computer system and install and configure hardware and software systems. The IT support solves different problems when they arise and assist other employees in using different software programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic network configurations and monitor network performance for potential issues.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems within Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Maintain network devices, ensuring that security protocols and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with multiple vendors and third-party IT service providers to troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues.
- Provide technical support for software, including Zoom and other business applications
- Proactively monitor cybersecurity threats and implement preventative measures.
- Research and independently resolve IT-related issues with minimal supervision.
- Create and maintain IT documentation for processes, configurations, and resolutions.
- Collaborate with other teams, including media production, on software and hardware-related tasks.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, for media-related support tasks.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of basic network configurations, monitoring, and management.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 troubleshooting and support.
- Familiarity with business software such as Zoom.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to work with multiple vendors and IT service providers.
- Knowledge of IT documentation and best practices for issues tracking and resolution.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki-based networks is a plus.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
