Job Description:
The Prospector is an essential administrative role designed to support the Job Developer by facilitating connections with local employers and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement. By identifying potential partnerships and initiating contact with businesses, the Prospector lays the groundwork for Job Developers to establish relationships that align with client needs and industry preferences.
This role focuses on researching and reaching out to employers in industries of interest to clients, serving as a bridge to connect businesses with the Job Developer. The Prospector ensures that Job Developers have the necessary opportunities to form productive partnerships that lead to successful job placements. By contributing to a collaborative environment, the Prospector plays a vital part in supporting clients on their journey to meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted research to identify employers in industries of choice for clients.
- Initiate contact with businesses to introduce employment services and opportunities for collaboration.
- Maintain a database of employer contacts and tracks outreach efforts.
- Represent the organization at community events, networking sessions, and industry gatherings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align employer outreach efforts with client goals and organizational priorities.
- Support the planning and delivery of employer-focused events and workshops.
Qualifications:
- Certification and/or diploma in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both official languages.
- Proficiency in case management and employment counselling techniques.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or outreach roles.
- Proficiency in using employment-related software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, job boards).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using employment-related software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, job boards).
- Proficiency in both official languages is an asset
- Must have a class G license, access to a reliable insured vehicle and have a good driving record
