Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Coordinator, Harm Reduction Services, the Registered Practical Nurse provides nursing support in the areas of:
- Medication administration
- Alcohol administration
- Care plan development and delivery
Qualifications
- 2 year post-secondary Diploma or Canadian equivalent in practical nursing.
- Two years’ experience working in the mental health/addictions field
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Bilingual requirements will be posted in accordance with the French Language Service (FLS) Designation Plan. Bilingualism is required for 40% of positions. If a position is designated bilingual and no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.
Salary
Hourly, Step 1: $27.77 – Step 3: $30.86
Successful candidates for this position will start at Step 1 of the salary grid.
